Applix Announces Its First Annual Users Conference.

:APLX), announced today the launch of its first annual, combined users conference called ApplixWorld 2000. More than 500 customers from across the globe are anticipated to attend the conference scheduled for May 23 - 26, 2000 at the Boston Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in downtown Boston, MA.

The Conference will focus on Applix's Front Office Business Applications including iEnterprise, iTM1 and iHelpDesk.

Applix will conduct a pre-conference workshop on May 23rd. The remainder of the 3-day Conference will include sessions conducted by Applix customers and partners. Training classes and seminars will include both business and technical tracks. The involvement of customers sharing experiences and providing product insights from an e-Business perspective will set ApplixWorld 2000 apart from traditional user conferences.

While this will be Applix's first combined user conference focused on e-Business, the company has held two prior Front Office Business Application user conferences that were very successful. The objective of the ApplixWorld 2000 Conference is to provide all current and potential customers with additional hands-on training and seminars about all of the company's solutions. The Conference will emphasize hands-on product training, provide updates and training on new versions, and introduce applications of Applix technology in creating a global e-Business infrastructure.
