Appligent Releases AppendPDF Pro 3.0; Leading Tool for on-Demand Personalization of Compound Documents In PDF Format Adds Support For XML, Encryption and Faster Web Delivery.

New features of AppendPDF Pro include support for using the popular XML XML
 in full Extensible Markup Language.

Markup language developed to be a simplified and more structural version of SGML. It incorporates features of HTML (e.g., hypertext linking), but is designed to overcome some of HTML's limitations.

Now AppendPDF Pro supports 40 and 128-bit encryption as well as setting user permissions on PDF documents.

For example, a financial company can offer users the opportunity to request information about different funds or prospectuses out of possibly hundreds available. AppendPDF Pro will extract the exact documents requested and build a personalized booklet complete with a cover letter and a new table of contents, as well as generate bookmarks based on the selected files so users can navigate through the document quickly and easily. In addition, AppendPDF Pro 3.0 offers a variety of stamping features, including headers or footers, page numbers, rotated text or graphics, sophisticated typographic effects and Bates numbering Bates numbering (also known as Bates Stamping or Bates Coding) is used in the legal, medical, and business, fields to sequentially number or date/time-mark images or documents as they are scanned or processed (for example, marking exhibits during the discovery stage  for legal documents to further customize the booklet.

Industries other than financial institutions have found AppendPDF Pro a valuable tool.
