---------------------------------------------------------

In a CallXpress3 system with voice mail, fax mail, and E-Mail Access, subscribers can make a single call from any touch-tone telephone in the world to: listen to their voice messages; listen to their e-mail messages, which E-Mail Access converts to speech; and forward any fax or e-mail message to the fax machine of their choice. The system provides subscribers a single set of procedures for processing all of their messages over the telephone, including answering, storing, deleting, forwarding to other system subscribers, or changing message ordering or notification options.

Now supporting users of Microsoft Mail, Lotus cc:Mail, and Lotus Notes Mail e-mail programs, E-Mail Access 1.1 provides a telephonic user interface to unified messaging for tens of millions of groupware e-mail users in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . E-Mail Access also offers two new options in text-to-speech -- the technology that converts electronic messages to speech. It provides a choice of hardware-based or software-based text-to-speech, which benefits telephony system managers because it can help them maximize the performance of their systems while dramatically reducing the cost of deploying text-to-speech. The text-to-speech capability in E-Mail Access also supports multiple languages.

With the introduction of E-Mail Access in 1995, AVT AVT

Desktop Message Manager for Exchange Inbox

-----------------------------------------

CallXpress3 Desktop Message Manager for Exchange Inbox is designed for users who want to leverage the value of their investment in the Microsoft Exchange e-mail component of Windows 95. Desktop Message Manager for Exchange Inbox enables Exchange users to view all of their messages -- voice, fax, and e-mail -- in a single list in the Windows '95 Exchange Inbox, and to manage their messages with a single set of commands.

With this release from AVT, Windows 95 users have a product that allows them to increase the value of their e-mail messaging interface by incorporating voice and fax messaging capabilities into the same interface. For example, users who are accustomed to the familiar folder system for organizing files can use the same folders for storing voice and fax messages. This interface is available for organizations that use either Microsoft Mail or Microsoft Exchange as their message store.

With E-Mail Access and Desktop Message Manager for Exchange Inbox, AVT is the first manufacturer to offer true unified messaging meaning access to voice, fax, and e-mail messages from a single list and with a single set of commands from both graphical and telephonic user interfaces.
