AVT's unified messaging solution for GroupWise provides many features for enhancing productivity. Users can retrieve voice, fax and email messages during a single telephone call, using a single set of commands. Utilizing text-to-speech technology, users can listen to their email messages over the phone, and using text-to-fax technology, forward them to any fax machine for printing. Users can also save, forward and delete email messages via the telephone as well as reply to an email message with a voice message. In addition, AVT's Live Reply(tm) feature allows users to press one key to transfer directly to the sender of a message to conduct a live conversation.

As part of the future evolution of AVT's unified messaging solution for GroupWise, the product will utilize the GroupWise message store and user directories for voice, fax and email messages, providing a single point of administration for system managers. GroupWise is an expanded client/server email system that is the first in the industry to include full document management capabilities as part of a new Universal Mail Box.
