:AVRI AVRI American Vintage Reissue (Fender guitars) ) will present its corporate business plan to over 1,000 attendees of The Investment Reporter's Discovery Expo '98 to be held at the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
Hilton & Towers on Thursday, June 18, 1998. The Company plans to demonstrate its newly released completely mobile dictation solution, VoiceCOMMANDER(TM) Professional Edition. The VoiceCOMMANDER handheld system, based on the Olympus Model D1000 and IBM ViaVoice IBM ViaVoice is a range of language-specific continuous speech recognition software products offered by IBM. Individual language editions may have different features, specifications, technical support, and microphone support. (TM), is compact, sturdy and lightweight. It records on advanced digital micromedia which have none of the drawbacks of traditional cassette tapes.

AVRI develops and markets innovative voice recognition solutions for the healthcare information industry that allow professionals to transform voice into text almost instantaneously. Instead of dictating notes into a telephone and having them transcribed, a process that typically consumes three hours for every hour of dictation, the user simply speaks normally into a digital handheld unit. The recorded material is then "read" at a rate of over 150 wpm by a specially equipped PC. Only final editing is required -- at an estimated time and cost savings of over 50 percent. A completely mobile solution, the VoiceCOMMANDER gives the healthcare professional the option to dictate at the point of action, rather than having to find a telephone or specially equipped desktop.

The Company was founded in 1994 and has spent four years and has invested in excess of $11 million in establishing itself as a leader in the voice recognition applications marketplace. AVRI's products are already used in the medical community -- including the Baylor College of Medicine Baylor College of Medicine is a private medical school located in Houston, Texas, USA on the grounds of the Texas Medical Center.
