) has entered into an $80 million agreement with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (TSMC), the world's largest dedicated semiconductor foundry, to manage the spare parts Spare parts, also referred to as Service Parts is a term used to indicate extra parts available and in proximity to the mechanical item, such as a automobile, boat, engine, for which they might be used.

Total Parts Management is Applied Materials' complete spare parts inventory management solution that offers customers the option of having Applied Materials completely own and manage spare parts (consumables and non-consumables) for Applied Materials equipment used in a fab. Using TPM, customers typically can significantly reduce administrative and stocking costs and pay only for parts used.
