Applied Innovation to Use Ariel's 56K Remote Access Technology in New Carrier Class Server.

The server is currently being used in field trials by a major telco, with widespread deployment expected following successful completion of the trials.

Applied Innovation's decision to utilize Ariel's remote access technology comes on the heels of major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. T1-Modem+ gives remote access equipment OEMs and system integrators who are targeting the corporate enterprise, Internet Service Providers, telcos and local exchange carriers up to 30 ports of digital 56-kbps and analog 33.6-kbps V.34 remote access. T1-Modem+ supports both the K56flex and V.90 56-kbps modem standards, and when connected to a T1/E1/PRI line interface card via MVIP (MultiVendor Integration Protocol) A voice bus and switching protocol developed by Natural Microsystems, Natick, MA, and others.
