Applied Development wins 5 awards.


Applied Development Company earned five prestigious awards at the recent 2002 Garden State Awards sponsored by the New Jersey Apartment Association.

The annual event held in Atlantic City Atlantic City, city (1990 pop. 37,986), Atlantic co., SE N.J., an Atlantic resort and convention center; settled c.1790, inc. 1854. Situated on Absecon Island, a barrier island 10 mi (16.  recognizes excellence in multifamily development in New Jersey.

The Hoboken-based developer was awarded top honors for "Outstanding New Construction" and "Excellence in Curb Appeal for a High-Rise Building high-rise building

Multistory building taller than the maximum height people are willing to walk up, thus requiring vertical mechanical transportation. The introduction of safe passenger elevators made practical the erection of buildings more than four or five stories tall.

In addition, Applied's Audrey Spina was named "Property Manager of the Year for 300-plus units", and Robyn Smith was awarded "Most Supportive On-Site Staff Member."
