Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:APDN) reported today that its investment banker, New York-based Vertical Capital Partners, Inc. www.verticalcp.com (Members of the NASD, SIPC and MSRB) with participation by Galileo Asset Management SA www.galileoam.com, has closed $7,361,000 of funding for the company. Galileo represented foreign investors that subscribed in the offering. In addition, $1,650,000 in Promissory Notes issued in November 2003 to investors introduced to the Company by Vertical Capital Partners were converted into shares of common stock between December 2004 and January 2005.
