Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. (Applied DNA Sciences) will benefit from Brown's 35 years of executive management and leadership experience in the deployment of its Applied DNA(TM) Marker Ink and Chip products, which enable the prevention of fraud and identity theft to protect brands, trademarked products and other intellectual property that are critical to industry and world trade.

Brown was formerly chief executive officer and chairman of BIO-key International, Inc.
