Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB: APDN), a provider of proprietary embedded-DNA security applications, has named Kyle Keogh to manage the company's newly established sales office located in Florida. He will focus on developing business opportunities for Applied DNA Sciences' products and, in particular, broadening incorporation of the Applied DNA Chip into identification cards.

Mr. Keogh is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of business development, sales integration, marketing, and human resources experience in the fields of anti- fraud and anti-theft, smart card development and deployment, and biometrics.

In 1999, Mr. Keogh co-founded Smart Biometrics, Inc., a smart card and biometric technology company. He also invented the BioVault, the world's first embedded biometric access control device. Smart Biometrics was sold to Sequiam Biometrics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sequiam Corporation, in May of this year.

Mr. Keogh has been a frequent consultant to Fortune 1000 companies on issues ranging from fraud management to systems integration. He has also consulted for and serves in an advisory capacity with federal, state and local government organizations on topics related to biometrics and smart card technology, as well as fraud and theft management in the homeland security arena.
