FOSTER CITY, Calif. -- Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI), an Applera Corporation business, will webcast a meeting with investors on Thursday, October 25, 2007. The one-hour question and answer session, which will be held during the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) annual meeting in San Diego, is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. PT. Kimberlee Caple, Vice President and General Manager of the High-Throughput Discovery business unit, which has developed the Group's SOLiD[TM] next-generation DNA sequencing system, will answer questions from the audience. The session, for which attendance is limited to the investment community, will be held in the Hilton Gaslamp Hotel, Loft Building, 401 K Street, in the Corona Room.
