Applied Biosystems and Celera Genomics to Webcast Investor Presentations.

FOSTER CITY, Calif. & ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI) and Celera Genomics Group (NYSE:CRA), Applera Corporation businesses, will webcast a meeting with investors on March 28, 2006. The meeting, which will be held at Applied Biosystems' offices in Foster City, is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m. PT. Catherine M. Burzik, President of Applied Biosystems, and Kathy Ordonez, President of Celera Genomics, will provide overviews of each business and take questions from investors.
