NORWALK, Conn. -- Applera Corporation announced today that it will issue fiscal 2006 third quarter results for its Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI) and Celera Genomics Group (NYSE:CRA) on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Results are scheduled for release before the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

Tony L. White, Chief Executive Officer, Dennis L. Winger, Chief Financial Officer, and senior managers from the Corporation's businesses will lead a conference call the same day at 11:00 a.m. (ET) to discuss these results and other matters related to the businesses.
