Applications under private Haj schemes to be received from August 1-15: Ministry.

ISLAMABAD , July 30, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Coordinator Hajj training of ministry of religious affairs Syed Farogh Aftab Zaidi has said applications under private hajj scheme will be received from August, 1 to 15 adding intending pilgrims under this scheme are required to file their applications with group organizers registered by ministry of religious affairs. National Identity card issued by NADRA and machine readable passport were also pre-requisites of such applications, he told. Hajj dues should not paid to any irrelevant person, sub agent or institution, he stressed. The applicants should confirm from the organizers that permission letter was issued by ministry of religious affairs to them before depositing money, he added. The applications should also ascertain from them what facilities would be provided to them in return for paid amount, he held. They should obtain complete information from group organizers about plane fare, distance of residence from Harem Sharif, without or with Uzaira territory, he maintained. The intending pilgrims should also collect information from group organizers about the duration of their stay in Saudi Arabia, he added.
