Applications still available for C&D recycling awards.


* Showcasing the best in C&D recycling recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  is the goal of the Construction Materials Recycling Association's C&D Recycling Awards Program.

There are four awards available: Recycler of the Year, bestowed by the CMRA CMRA Commercial Mail Receiving Agency
CMRA Construction Materials Recycling Association
CMRA Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association
CMRA Capital Market Risk Advisors, Inc.
 Board of Directors to the individual who has done the most for the C&D recycling industry; Government Recycling Program, to highlight the best in the public sector; Concrete/Asphalt Recycling Facility to recognize excellence in the recycled aggregates market; and C&D Recycling Facility of the year for those operations doing the best in mixed C&D recycling.

Last year's winners were: Byron Lord of the Federal Highway Administration The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is a division of the United States Department of Transportation that specializes in highway transportation. The agency's major activities are grouped into two "programs," The Federal-aid Highway Program and the Federal Lands Highway  (FHWA FHWA Federal Highway Administration (US DoT) ), Recycler of the Year; Dan Copp Crushing, Concrete/Asphalt Recycling Facility; Downtown Diversions, Mixed C&D Recycler; and he Horry County Solid Waste Authority (South Carolina South Carolina, state of the SE United States.
