(Briefly).Applications are now available for the 2003 Banif Centre Award for Excellence in Association Leadership, which is sponsored by ASAE ASAE American Society of Association Executives ASAE American Society of Agricultural Engineers (Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems) ASAE Alkali-Sulfite-Anthraquinone-Ethanol and The Banff Centre. The award recognizes association executives who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the association management profession and lifelong learning Lifelong learning is the concept that "It's never too soon or too late for learning", a philosophy that has taken root in a whole host of different organisations. Lifelong learning is attitudinal; that one can and should be open to new ideas, decisions, skills or behaviors. . The winner will receive full tuition for one of three 10-day professional development programs at The Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada, as well as roundtrip air travel courtesy of the Canadian Tourism Commission The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) was created in 1995 to promote Canadian tourism in order to capitalize on a major international industry. The CTC states that it "is dedicated to promoting the growth and profitability of the Canadian tourism industry by marketing Canada as a , ground transportation, accommodations, and meals-a total package worth more than $10,000.
