The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations for its prestigious Hispanic Business Hispanic Business, Inc. is a media company based in Santa Barbara, California, in the United States of America. Founded by Jesús Chavarría in 1979, Hispanic Business, Inc. publishes information for and about Hispanic professionals and entrepreneurs.  awards.

The Chamber's Hispanic Business Group seeks nominees for the following awards: Top 100 Hispanic Businesses in Florida Florida, state, United States

To be selected as a Top 100 Hispanic company, nominees, whether a parent company or a subsidiary, must be based in Florida. Private and public companies will be honored hon·or

1. High respect, as that shown for special merit; esteem: the honor shown to a Nobel laureate.

 separately at this year's event. To qualify, private companies must also be at least 51 percent Hispanic-owned and public companies must be controlled by Hispanics.

The Hispanic Business Community Involvement award recognizes a Hispanic-owned business for its efforts in improving the social and economic well-being of the community in which they operate.

A Non-Hispanic-owned company exhibiting the greatest strides to serve and promote the Hispanic community will be recognized with the Non-Hispanic Business award.

The Fastest Growing Hispanic Business will be determined by revenues reported for 1997 and 1998 on application forms.

The Group also seeks nominees for its Hispanic Marketer of the Year award, which will recognize the company that has launched the most effective marketing campaign targeting Hispanic consumers in the State of Florida.

The first four awards will be presented at the 16th annual Top 100 Hispanic Businesses Award Luncheon scheduled for Friday, Sept. 24, 1999. The Hispanic Marketer of the Year award will be presented on Thursday, Sept. 23, during the luncheon program of the 10th annual Hispanic Market Seminar. This year, the Hispanic Market Seminar is scheduled to run a full day on Sept. 23.
