STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2001

On February 5, 2001, Scribona AB (publ) made a public offer to acquire all shares outstanding in PC LAN (1) A network of IBM or IBM-compatible PCs.

(2) A network of any variety of computers.

With respect to Scribona AB's application regarding corporate consolidation in connection with the Company's offer to acquire the shares in PC LAN ASA, the Swedish Competition Authority decided on March 21, 2001 not to take any action.
