Application Service Provider Mi8 Expands to Europe; Company Offers Online Application Netsourcing in United Kingdom.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2000

Mi8 Corporation, the leading Application Service Provider (ASP) for small to mid-sized organizations, today announced it has launched operations in Europe under the nameMi8 Europe Ltd, and has opened its European headquarters near London, England, UK. Mi8 now offers European businesses the ability to Netsource (rent over the Internet) Microsoft Outlook plus Exchange, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Goldmine.

"European businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the advantages of Netsourcing applications from an application services provider," said Dave Castellani, CEO of Mi8 Corp. "This is an untapped market in Europe, but small to medium sized European companies are quickly realizing the advantage of having Mi8 handle the hassles associated with managing their application and mail servers. Our Netsourcing solutions enable companies to focus their attention and resources on their core business functions."

Mi8 Europe Ltd. is headed by Fraser Danbury, Managing Director of Mi8 Europe. Prior to joining Mi8, Mr. Danbury was a Vice President at Salomon Brothers, in their Emerging Markets Department. In addition, Mi8 Europe Ltd. has appointed Roger Little as Director of European Sales Prior to joining Mi8, Mr. Little, directed the trading floor at Abbey National.

Mi8 has signed up eight European customers, including OrgasmicWines.com, one of Europe's premium online wine sellers, TheChildrensBookcase.com, an online bookseller, and Apptap.com, a reseller of Mi8's product line. These dot-com, early adopters are excited to have a company providing application software subscriptions over the Internet in the UK. Mi8 provides its UK subscribers with free phone support and will launch a separate UK Web site this spring. Mi8 also has signed contracts with two resellers in the UK and one in Ireland to promote its Netsourcing services, and plans to continue expansion throughout Europe.
