Keynote (Nasdaq: KEYN), the Internet Performance Authority(TM), announced the appointment of Chris Loosley, a well known industry expert in database and back-end application development and performance issues, as a senior Internet consultant.

Loosley has over 25 years of experience in software performance engineering. He joins Keynote from the Institute for Computer Capacity Management (ICCM) where he was the Managing Director of ICCM Forum, the web portal for performance issues maintained by the ICCM. Loosley was a founding partner of DataBase Associates, one of the world's leading think tanks and consulting organizations focused on information systems, where he advised both software vendors and corporate IT departments on many complex aspects of enterprise information systems architecture and design. Prior to DataBase Associates, Loosley spent 21 years with Bachman and IBM as a senior technical architect where he specialized in performance measurement, design and tuning of IMS/VS and DB2. His book "High-Performance Client/Server" was published by John Wiley in 1998, and he is well known for his articles in the computer trade press and his worldwide seminars on performance-related subjects. Loosley is a graduate of University of Wales in Pure Mathematics/Statistics.
