Appliant, Inc., a leading developer of enterprise application management software, today announced that it has joined Lotus Development Corporation's Business Partner Program.

The joint strength of Appliant and Lotus will provide customers with comprehensive solutions to manage the performance of business-critical enterprise applications.

Appliant also recently introduced its first product for application management, Appvisor for Microsoft Exchange Messaging and groupware software for Windows from Microsoft. Exchange Server is an Internet-compliant e-mail system that runs under Windows NT/2000 and Windows Server 2003. It can be accessed by Web browsers, the Exchange client, versions of Outlook and the earlier Windows Inbox. . The product monitors Exchange in real time, measures performance and usage at a transaction level, correlates client and server metrics and provides a variety of reports for help desk, service level agreements, and performance and usage analysis to provide effective support and assist in planning for growth. The product recently won a Best of Show award at the Electronic Messaging See e-mail and messaging system.  Association show in the Messaging Management category.
