Applera CEO in spotlight for high pay.


One instrument industry executive making headlines with his 2002 paycheck is Applera CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Tony White. He is number 11 on Business Weeks list of the top-paid CEOs of 2001 with pay totaling $61.9 million.
