Applebee's Adds Three New Menu Items as Part Of BBQ Fever.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar (Nasdaq: APPB) today introduced three new barbecue items as part of its new BBQ Fever promotion.

The promotion, which runs through April 24, features Applebee's Honey BBQ Baby Backs and Mesquite BBQ Sirloin, plus three new items:

--Grilled BBQ Shrimp Skewers. Skewers of shrimp seasoned, grilled and brushed with Applebee's Honey Barbecue Sauce. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and garlic toast.

--BBQ Jack Chicken. A tender, grilled chicken breast brushed with Applebee's Honey Barbecue Sauce and topped with smoked bacon and melted Monterey Jack cheese. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and garlic toast.

--Citrus BBQ Boneless Wings. Tender, white chicken lightly breaded and tossed in Applebee's Citrus Chipotle Barbecue Sauce. Served with celery sticks and a side of Citrus Chipotle Barbecue Sauce.

The promotion also features the Dulce de Leche dessert.
