Apple snacks: these boats are good for snacking. Make an apple boat for yourself and a friend. (Mix & Fix).



What you need:

1 apple Peanut peanut, name for a low, annual leguminous plant (Arachis hypogaea) of the family Leguminosae (pulse family) and for its edible seeds. Native to South America and cultivated there for millenia, it is said to have been introduced to Africa by early explorers,  butter

1 slice lowfat American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of  cheese

2 thin pretzel sticks

What you do:

1. Ask an adult to cut the apple in half and hollow out Verb 1. hollow out - remove the interior of; "hollow out a tree trunk"
core out, hollow

empty - make void or empty of contents; "Empty the box"; "The alarm emptied the building"

gouge, rout - make a groove in
 the core, removing the seeds.

2. Fill each half of the apple with the peanut butter.

3. Cut the cheese in half diagonally to make two triangles.

4. Poke See peek/poke.

poke - The BASIC command to write a value to an absolute address.

 a pretzel stick through the top and bottom of each piece of cheese.

5. Place the pretzel in the peanut butter.
