Long-term disability http://www.m2.com Apple Computer has introduced Quick Time 5, a new version of its software for creating, playing and streaming audio and video over the Internet. Version 5 offers an improved user interface with new audio controls, a 'hot picks' guide and a QuickTime TV channels display. Other enhancements include a new DV codec (1) (enCOder/DECoder) A hardware circuit that performs analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion. When analog signals are entered into a computer, cellphone or other device via a microphone or video source such as VHS tape or analog TV, for increased speed and quality, an ability for content creators to design custom interfaces for the delivery of their QuickTime content and a component downloader for quick addition of Apple and third-party plug-ins. QuickTime 5 for US English versions of Mac OS can be downloaded free of charge from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download while localised localised - localisation versions will be released in May. Apple has also launched QuickTime Streaming Server QuickTime Streaming Server (QTSS) is a server or service daemon built into Apple Computer's Mac OS X Server that delivers video and audio on request to users over a computer network or the Internet. Its primary GUI configuration tool is QTSS Publisher. 3, the latest version of its open source streaming server. Improvements include 'Skip Protection', a patented collection of features that protects the quality of streams from disruptions on the Internet, and a new web-based interface that can be managed locally or remotely to configure server settings.
