Groundbreaking ceremony to launch a one-year renovation and expansion
of the Apple Valley Medical Center. Today, the center includes:
    --  an independent clinic of 14 family practice physicians
    --  20 board-certified medical specialists
    --  24-hour urgent care
    --  full-service pharmacy
    --  physical medicine and rehabilitation
The new facility will provide 50 percent more space in family
practice, urgent care and the specialty center, including 35 new exam
rooms. Plans include adding three family practice physicians during
the next three years. The pharmacy will double in size, and a new
medical imaging center will provide on-site mammography, ultrasound,
CT and MRI scanning. In addition, there will be a new parking ramp to
accommodate more cars.
