Applause Extends Its Successful Baby Looney Tunes Line With a Sound Collection; Applause Offers Product With a Little Bit of Attitude and a Whole Lot of Love.


WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998-- Applause Inc. introduces all-new, innovative product additions to the Baby Looney Tunes Baby Looney Tunes is an American animated television series that shows Looney Tunes characters as toddlers.

The show premiered on WB stations usually before or after Kids' WB! on September 14, 2002.

The extremely soft, cuddly and cute line has been a great success for Applause. The 1999 line spotlights sound plush with Baby's First Taz and Baby's First Tweety. The line-up features a range of products including Baby Looney Tunes Plush Rattles, Chime Balls, Musical Pull-Downs, Plush Frames, Applause Lovies and a Gift Set.

To participate in baby's development, Applause offers an abundance of sound items. April 1999 introduces the sweet-sounding Tweety (SRP/$10) and Bugs (SRP/$12) Velour Chime Balls.

Also launching in April is a Prepack of Ring Rattles, including darling Baby Bugs, Baby Taz and Baby Tweety. The featured items are the very cute Baby's First Taz and Baby's First Tweety (each SRP/$25). Each character comes with a cassette that plays soothing music.

June introductions are the Gift Set (SRP/$25) and a collection of adorable Plush Frames featuring Baby Bugs, Baby Taz and Baby Tweety (each SRP/$15).

Applause offers a variety of charming Musical Pull-Downs: Baby Bugs, Baby Tweety and Baby Taz (each SRP/$25). Also available are the soft medium-sized plush collection of Baby Daffy, Baby Bugs, Baby Tweety, Baby Sylvester Baby Sylvester is an anthromorphic cat from the series Baby Looney Tunes. He is a young version of Sylvester Cat. Portrayed by Terry Klassen. Biography

The Lovie is an ever-popular Applause original. Lovies are soft and cuddly blankets connecting to the head and arms of plush characters. Baby Bugs and Baby Tweety are currently available.

Rounding out the ever-popular Baby Looney Tunes Lovies line is the addition of Baby Taz. The Baby Taz Lovie will be introduced in April 1999. Each is adorned with a satin heart and trim, which is perfect for embroidering the new baby's name (each Lovie SRP/$25).
