Appian to Deliver BPM-Based E-Procurement Solution for Defense Information Systems Agency; Appian Technology to Manage and Automate DISA's End-to-End Procurement Process.

VIENNA, Va. -- Appian Corporation, the leading provider of human-centric business process management suites (BPMS), today announced that Appian's Government Acquisition Management solution was selected by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as part of its recent contract award to Pearson Analytic Solutions (formerly KEI Pearson), to create an Enterprise Business Modernization (EBM) System. As a BPM-based e-procurement solution, Appian's Government Acquisition Management solution is the core of the new EBM system which will allow DISA to better manage its procurement lifecycle, allowing efficient, integrated "one-stop shopping" for DISA's Procurement and Logistics/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (PL/DITCO).

Powered by the award-winning Appian Enterprise BPM suite, Appian's Government Acquisition Management solution is a 100 percent Web-based, end-to-end solution that will connect procurement operations, systems, and DISA personnel in a collaborative, process-driven procurement framework.
