Appeal for witnesses after assault.POLICE are making house-to-house inquiries and checking CCTV CCTV abbr. closed-circuit television CCTV closed-circuit television footage following an assault on a 32-year-old man. Detectives want to speak to anyone who witnessed the man being forced into a vehicle in East Road, Tylorstown, Rhondda, some time during Saturday evening. They say the victim was then assaulted, suffering cuts and bruises, and had a number of items stolen. A blue RoverMG which has been recovered is being forensically examined. "A full investigation is under way but we are also appealing for assistance from the community," he said. "Since this matter was reported to us on Monday, officers have been making house-to-house enquiries and examining CCTV in the area to establish the exact circumstances of what has taken place. "We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in East Road on Saturday evening or who knows anything about this incident."
