Appeal after shop is robbed.Witnesses are needed after an attempted bag snatch snatch removal of a newborn animal from the dam before it has an opportunity to suck. The incident at the Newsplus shop, Thorntree Road, in the West End of Newcastle, took place at 7.25pm on Saturday. Two women were locking up the store when they were attacked by two men who tried to steal the handbag of one of the women.
