Appeal after man punched.


A MAN suffered a broken jaw when he was punched in the face.

The 25-year-old was hit by his attacker on Northumberland Northumberland (nôrthŭm`bərlənd), county (1991 pop. 300,600), 2,019 sq mi (5,229 sq km), NE England. Northernmost of the English counties, it is separated from Scotland by the Cheviot Hills and the Tweed River, and borders on the  Street, Newcastle, at around 4.20am on Monday, August 25.

He went to hospital before reporting the assault to police.

The attacker made off on foot to a vehicle, believed to be making a delivery or doing work on the street, and spoke to the driver. Police are keen to speak to the driver. The registration of the vehicle is thought to end in either BCX BCX Beloreck (Russia)  or BGX.
