Apparel company expands.


In response to the expansion of its business, Wacoal Wacoal Corporation (株式会社ワコール   America America [for Amerigo Vespucci], the lands of the Western Hemisphere—North America, Central (or Middle) America, and South America. The world map published in 1507 by Martin Waldseemüller is the first known cartographic use of the name.  Inc., maker of ladies intimate apparel, has signed a lease for 26,112 square-fee of manufacturing and distribution space at 455 Barell Avenue, Carlstadt, New Jersey Carlstadt is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 5,917.

Carlstadt was originally formed as a village by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 12, 1860, within Lodi Township.

The transaction was negotiated by the Charles Klatskin Company.

Wacoal chose the Meadowlands facility, because of its proximity to Wacoal America Inc.'s other location in Carlstadt and its showroom and office in New York City New York City: see New York, city.
