Under terms of the engagement, AppNet will provide e-business strategy consulting and design an overarching implementation strategy for e-business initiatives across the Group Companies of VEBA Electronics. In addition, AppNet will offer Web site and application development support for unifying VEBA's member companies and their divisions behind one end-to-end architecture for conducting e-business.

The new architecture will drive a sweeping e-business initiative through which VEBA seeks to transform the electronics' marketplace by building real-time linkages between suppliers and customers.
