The 16-year-old, who breeds chickens as a hobby at his grandparents' farm in Sway, Hants, was collecting eggs from his 50 hens when he found the huge one. Dean, from Lymington in the New Forest, said "I could hardly believe what I was seeing - it was so large. It was with two normalsized eggs, so up against them it looked even bigger. "I wondered how on earth my hen had laid such a massive egg." Even his grandparents, Edward and Margaret Light, who have bred chickens at Little Acre Farm for decades, have never seen anything like it.
