Apollo to acquire BPP.

Apollo Group Apollo Group, Inc. NASDAQ: APOL is an S&P 500 corporation based in Phoenix, Arizona. Apollo Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides higher education to working adults.  said that its 80.1 per cent-owned subsidiary Apollo Global has agreed to acquire UK-based BPP (Bits Per Pixel) See bit depth.

Apollo Global has agreed to purchase all of the outstanding shares of BPP at 620 pence per share in cash, representing an enterprise value of approximately $540 million. The transaction was structured as a court-sanctioned acquisition arrangement under UK law. The transaction, if approved, is expected to close during Apollo Group's fiscal fourth quarter.
