Apollo partner is Urban Leader.Lee Neibart, senior partner with Apollo Real Estate Advisors, is the recipient of the 2004 Urban Leadership Award from New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of University's Real Estate Institute [NYU NYU New York University NYU New York Undercover (TV show) REI], announced Associate Dean D. Kenneth Patton. Neibart will be honored at NYU REI's 36th annual Urban Leadership Award Gala to be held June 2, 2004 at the Time Warner Center The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use skyscraper developed by The Related Companies in New York City. Its design, by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, consists of two 229 m (750 ft) towers bridged by a multi-story atrium containing upscale retail , Mandarin Oriental Ballroom. Recent past honorees include other titans of New York's real estate world: Douglas Durst, last year; Daniel Brodsky in 2001; Stephen B Siegel in 2000; and Mortimer Zuckerman Mortimer Benjamin "Mort" Zuckerman (born 1937, Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Jewish American magazine editor, publisher, and real estate billionaire. He co-founded Boston Properties, Inc. in 1970. He is chairman of the board, and director. in 1999. "We honor Lee Niebart not only for his contributions to New York City New York City: see New York, city. New York City City (pop., 2000: 8,008,278), southeastern New York, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The largest city in the U.S. but also for his many contributions to the real estate industry and to our school, and it is fitting we honor him at a gala held in the Time Warner Center, a project to which Lee's leadership was indispensable," said Ken Patton, the Larry and Klara Silverstein Professor of Real Estate. Patton continued, "Lee is a valued member of our Advisory Board and the faculty, a mentor to our students and an active participant in our conferences and panels. "He is extraordinarily well respected by his colleagues in our industry and enjoys the admiration and loyalty of his and Apollo's partners around the globe. He serves on the Investment Committees of all the Funds and oversees the day-to-day management of the Funds.
