It expresses a convergence of will between the parties, indicating an intended common line of action and may not imply a legal commitment. with the Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu (tăm`əl nä`d ), formerly Madras (mədrăs`, mədräs`), state (2001 provisional pop. government to acquire 135 acres of land in the Oragadam Industrial Park, Tamil Nadu, for the construction of a radial tire facility. Apollo Tyres Ltd. will invest Rs 300 crores in the first stage, with the final investment reaching be-tween Rs 450 and 520 crores by the end of five years.
