Associates and Undergraduate degree programs will be offered initially, with Graduate programs to follow. The programs will be offered in the Newark and Hackettstown areas of New Jersey. Apollo also announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, the University of Phoenix (UOP), has received approval from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to offer its first doctoral degree. The Doctor of Management degree will be offered in early 1999. In addition, IPD has extended its contracts with Albertus Magnus College, Cornerstone College and William Penn College. IPD's contract with Albertus Magnus College, based in New Haven, Conn., began in 1994 and was extended until August, 2008. IPD's contract with Cornerstone College, based in Grand Rapids, Mich., began in 1996 and was extended until August, 2008.
