Non-Reserve Mineral Resources Noun 1. mineral resources - natural resources in the form of minerals natural resource, natural resources - resources (actual and potential) supplied by nature Cautionary Note to U.S. Investors concerning estimates of Indicated Mineral Resources: Press releases use the term "indicated mineral resources." We advise U.S. investors that while the term is recognized and required by Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma. regulations, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission does not recognize it. U.S. investors are cautioned not to assume that any part or all of the mineral deposits in these categories will ever be converted into mineral reserves. Cautionary Note to U.S. Investors concerning estimates of Inferred Mineral Resources: This press release uses the term "inferred mineral resources." We advise U.S. investors that while the term is recognized and required by Canadian regulations, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission does not recognize it. "Inferred mineral resources" have a great amount of uncertainty as to their existence, and great uncertainty as to their economic and legal feasibility fea·si·ble adj. 1. Capable of being accomplished or brought about; possible: a feasible plan. See Synonyms at possible. 2. . It cannot be assumed that all or any part of an inferred mineral resources will ever be upgraded to a higher category. In accordance Accordance is Bible Study Software for Macintosh developed by OakTree Software, Inc.[] As well as a standalone program, it is the base software packaged by Zondervan in their Bible Study suites for Macintosh. with Canadian rules, estimates of inferred mineral resources cannot form the basis of feasibility or other economic studies. U.S. investors are cautioned not to assume that part or all of the inferred mineral resource exists, or is economically ec·o·nom·i·cal adj. 1. Prudent and thrifty in management; not wasteful or extravagant. See Synonyms at sparing. 2. Intended to save money, as by efficient operation or elimination of unnecessary features; economic: or legally minable. The resources for the Black Fox deposit are based on 449 surface diamond drill (136,391.6 meters) and 321 underground diamond drill holes (75,704.5 meters) drilled by Apollo and 245 surface drill holes and 721 underground drill holes drilled by prior owners. However, MDA believes that there are two serious sampling issues with the deposit, both of which are related to the occurrence of coarse gold in the deposit (nugget Nugget A 15 year Gold FHLMC (Freddie Mac) bond; similar to a Dwarf. effect). MDA believes that the result in the Black Fox Deposit is that while a few samples overestimate o·ver·es·ti·mate tr.v. o·ver·es·ti·mat·ed, o·ver·es·ti·mat·ing, o·ver·es·ti·mates 1. To estimate too highly. 2. To esteem too greatly. gold in the area they represent, most samples tend to contain less gold than is believed to be actually present. First, the gold is often concentrated in small high-grade High-grade Credit quality of AAA or AA. high-grade Of, relating to, or being a bond with little risk of default on the part of the issuer. High-grade is usually reserved for bonds rated AAA or AA by the rating services. clots. The challenge is to obtain a sample that contains a representative amount of gold for the area sampled. The core holes that form the basis for the resource and reserve estimate are too small to obtain a representative sample. A core with a diameter diameter - The diameter of a graph is the maximum value of the minimum distance between any two nodes. of several meters would be required to obtain representative sample, which is not practical. As a result some of the samples contain too much gold in the sample, from hitting the areas that contain the concentrated gold occurrence. MDA believes that more of the core will produce samples that miss the area of local concentration and contain less gold than is actually present in the area sampled. Some of these samples may even appear to be waste. The second challenge is in preparing and assaying assaying (əsā`yĭng, ăs`āyĭng), in metallurgy, process of determining the specific metallic content of an ore, alloy, or other substance, especially one containing precious metals. the sample once it has been obtained. Gold particles <onlyinclude> This is a list of particles in particle physics, including currently known and hypothetical elementary particles, as well as the composite particles that can be built up from them. up to 0.15 centimeters (cm) have been observed ob·serve v. ob·served, ob·serv·ing, ob·serves v.tr. 1. To be or become aware of, especially through careful and directed attention; notice. 2. and particles of 0.06 cm are very common (Pitard - The Black Fox preliminary Pitard report, November November: see month. 2005). The proper sample size is required in order to get a representative sample. In order to sample the 0.15 cm gold particles that occur at Black Fox, samples of up to 109 kilograms (kg) must be processed in their entirety The whole, in contradistinction to a moiety or part only. When land is conveyed to Husband and Wife, they do not take by moieties, but both are seised of the entirety. (Pitard, 2005). If the sample contains 0.06 cm gold particles, which commonly occur in the deposit, a 7 kg sample must be processed in its entirety (Pitard, 2005). These sample sizes are much larger than the typical 30-gram fire assay ASSAY. A chemical examination of metals, by which the quantity of valuable or precious metal contained in any mineral or metallic mixture is ascertained. 2. By the acts of Congress of March 3, 1823, 3 Story's L. U. S. 1924; of June 25, 1834, 4 Shars. cont. Story's L. U. S. sample or even the 1000-gram screen metallic assay sample. We believe that this results in a few assays containing too much gold, with more containing less gold than is actually present in the whole sample. Francis Francis, French prince, duke of Alençon and Anjou Francis, 1554–84, French prince, duke of Alençon and Anjou; youngest son of King Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici. Pitard, an expert on gold distribution and sampling techniques, in his study of the Black Fox Deposit, concluded that without proper size samples the database for the deposit likely contains a few samples that are too high in grade, but more that are too low in grade. For these reasons MDA declined to categorize cat·e·go·rize tr.v. cat·e·go·rized, cat·e·go·riz·ing, cat·e·go·riz·es To put into a category or categories; classify. cat any of the resource "Measured" until further sampling and test mining is completed. Further evidence that our resource model is conservative with gold predictions is indicated by a comparison of the previously mined ores to what our model estimates would have been a reserve in those areas. Exall, the previous owners, mined a total of 1.1 million tonnes grading 6.03 g Au/t (calculated head grade) containing 213,600 ounces of gold from the deposit. MDA compared the material predicted by the model inside the area mined by Exall to the actual grade and tonnage TONNAGE, mar. law. The capacity of a ship or vessel. 2. The act of congress of March 2, 1799, s. 64, 1 Story's L. U. S. 630, directs that to ascertain the tonnage of any ship or vessel, the surveyor, &c. mined. The model predicted 95,800 ounces as compared to the 213,600 ounces that were actually mined. We believe that it is therefore reasonable to infer that positive adjustments to the resource model will continue between the model based on drill hole information and the actual gold mined. R. David Russell David Russell may refer to:
MDA completed the resource estimate of material contained in the Black Fox model between the 9300 elevation and the 9960 elevation. Most of the resource is contained in a part of the Destor-Porcupine Fault, 750 meters along strike and drilled to a depth of 350 meters on the west and 500 meters on the east. The mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. remains open along strike and to depth. The Black Fox resource estimate is based on two cut-offs. A 0.90 g Au/t cut-off cut-off Anesthesiology The point at which elongation of the carbon chain of the 1-alkanol family of anesthetics results in a precipitous drop in the anesthetic potential of these agents–eg, at > 12 carbons in length, there is little anesthetic activity, , suitable for the open pit, was applied to material down to the 9720 elevation, or about 280 meters below the surface. Below the 9720 elevation, a 3.0 g Au/t cut-off was used since it is likely that this material would only be mined by underground methods. MDA Recommendations MDA's primary recommendation is to confirm that the model underestimates the actual material in the ground. In particular, the following programs are recommended by MDA to be completed during the feasibility: --Check sample at least 5-10% of the material inside the mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. Most familiar carbonates are salts that are formed by reacting an inorganic base (e.g. and "flow ore" mineralization types.
