Apogee Networks Bolsters Worldwide Sales Channel With Opening of European Office; Names Coleman EMEA Vice President of Sales.


ROCHELLE PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--Apogee Networks, leaders in usage-based network billing solutions, today announced it has expanded its aggressive sales strategy with the opening of its first overseas sales office in Europe. Prior to Freegate, Coleman was the Regional Distribution Sales Manager for Ascend Communications, responsible for managing the channels in the UK and Nordic territories. In this role, he grew the Nordic business from $300,000 to $2 million in seven months.
