their global presence, reaching both current and emerging markets, by profitably producing and distributing premium-based technology at economically sensitive price points. Tahoe-based products enhance dispenser productivity with quick-fit solutions and can be promoted as value-driven alternatives to costly custom fitting procedures and products.

Tahoe offers customers 6-channels of premium digital sound, along with speech enhancement and clarity in noise. Standard with 7 customizable memory presets, Tahoe is ideal for non-custom hearing instruments; programs can be fixed to span a wide range of hearing loss profiles. Tahoe also includes the industry's leading feedback elimination system, Adaptive Echo Cancellation The elimination of an echo in a two-way voice transmission. Echo is created in the telephone company's central office switch when two-wire lines from the customer are converted to four-wire lines for backbone trunks. , to prevent the "squeal" typically associated with universal fit ear molds or plugs.

Following last week's presentation of Sonoma II, Apherma launched Tahoe in answer to recent hearing industry market studies indicating a widespread consumer desire for better sound quality in entry-level hearing products. As the Silicon Valley's top hearing research and design firm, Apherma believes the solution to best satisfy these consumer demands is by the release of Tahoe through the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  channel for the widespread distribution and availability of Apherma technology among the industry's main producers.

"This is the first time manufacturers can affordably use such technology to produce premium products for improving the quality of life for people at all economic levels. Tahoe can revolutionize rev·o·lu·tion·ize
