-- Launching an integrated suite of solutions--the Enterprise Series--for linking diverse applications in the new networked computing environment.

-- Rapidly expanding its technology and marketing partnerships to make Apertus the preferred solution for networked application integration.

-- Recapitalizing the business through the recent sale of its system management product line.

Apertus is launching two comprehensive marketing programs in 1997 designed to enable customers to access and integrate corporate applications and data with the new networking technologies quickly, securely, and reliably. The Internet Program, available today, provides Internet-to-mainframe and AS/400 connectivity with Enterprise/Connect and access to legacy applications from Web, Java, and MQSeries messaging frameworks with Enterprise/Access. In April, the company will announce its Application Integration Program, focused on managing the exchange and distribution of transactions and data between diverse networked applications with Enterprise/Integrator.

With its Enterprise/Access solution, Apertus has deepened its commitment to Internet/intranet technologies like those of Netscape Communications Corporation (company) Netscape Communications Corporation - (Formlerly "Mosaic Communications Corporation", MCC) A company set up in April 1994 by Dr. James H.
