Apertus Announces Development Tool for Enterprise-wide Data Integration Enterprise/Integrator Aids in Building the Data Warehouse.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 14, 1995--Apertus Technologies (NASDAQ: APTS) today announced the general availability of Enterprise/Integrator(TM), an object-oriented development tool for developing and maintaining programs that transform, cleanse, merge, and synchronize data from heterogeneous databases. More than a simple data transformation tool, it allows the development of solutions for complex data integration issues that include identifying and consolidating logically redundant data such as names and addresses. Data integration initiatives are being fueled by the demand within IS organizations to migrate data from legacy systems to relational databases. These new databases are typically new data warehouse applications or new production support systems. Enterprise/Integrator Components

Enterprise/Integrator consists of two primary components, a Development Environment and a Production Environment. Using this information, Enterprise/Integrator generates code for the specific data integration application. The Production Environment provides additional graphical interfaces for system administration and exception handling.
