Apartments.com provides RSS feed for rental listings.

Online rental resource Apartments.com launched the industry's first RSS feed Summaries of Web site content that are published in the RSS format for download. See RSS. . By subscribing to the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) A syndication format that was developed by Netscape in 1999 and became very popular for aggregating updates to blogs and the news sites. RSS has also stood for "Rich Site Summary" and "RDF Site Summary.  feature, consumers will receive up-to-date, location-specific Apartments.com listings in an automatic feed to the destination of their choice.

To activate an RSS feed on Apartments.com. users must have an RSS aggregator--for example, My Yahoo!--to receive the data feed and make the information readable read·a·ble

. Users can start their customized RSS feed by selecting the "Subscribe to Verb 1. subscribe to - receive or obtain regularly; "We take the Times every day"

 get results via RSS" link on Apartments.com "Search Results" pages and by pasting the RSS link into their RSS aggregator. The RSS feature will allow users to easily access Apartments.com depth and breadth of rental advertisements including managed properties, newspaper classifieds and for-rent-by-owner listings.
