Aon Group Names Canfield Vice President of Corporate Communications.


CHICAGO, IL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 1998--Aon Group, Inc. (Aon Group), the global commercial insurance and consulting services arm of Aon Corporation, announced today that John Canfield has been appointed vice president of corporate communications Corporate communications is the process of facilitating information and knowledge exchanges with internal and key external groups and individuals that have a direct relationship with an enterprise. . In his new position, he will assist in the implementation of Aon Group's corporate communications plan, including marketing communications initiatives and the integration of Aon Group corporate communications worldwide.

Mr. Canfield was formerly senior vice president of Aon Group's Aon Consulting Worldwide unit, and a senior consultant, working with major clients of Aon Consulting's organizational communications practice.
