Aon Corporation boosts Pacific Rim presence.

1995--Aon Corporation today announced that its global brokerage and consulting arm, Rollins Hudig Hall, has purchased the remaining interest in the Asian insurance brokerage operation, HHL (Holdings) Limited (HHL), from its joint-venture partner, London-based C.E. Heath PLC (Heath).

HHL, a joint-venture between Aon's European insurance broker, Rollins Hudig Hall Holdings b.v. (formerly Hudig-Langeveldt), and Heath, was the first international insurance broker to establish a network of Asian operations. Today, HHL, which is headquartered in Hong Kong and is one of the largest insurance brokers in Asia, has an extensive network of insurance broking, employee benefit and risk management consulting offices in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
