Association office package program

The program provides customized property and casualty coverage at competitive rates and includes coverage for property, general liability, business interruption, computer systems, automobile liability, employee dishonesty, workers' compensation, and umbrella liability. New stretch endorsements include coverage for laptops, credit-card theft, and Web site business interruption. In addition, effective March 1, 2001, associations insured within this program are eligible for a dividend. This exclusive enhancement provides a 7 percent dividend on the following policies with The Hartford: worker's compensation, spectrum (package policy), general liability, automobile, property, crime, and inland marine. (*) The first valuation of the dividend will occur 24 months after its inception or March 1, 2003.

Association directors' and officers' liability program

This program provides a broad form of directors' and officers' liability policy tailored to meet the needs of associations and designed to protect the assets of your association as well as those of your board members from claims alleging mismanagement, antitrust allegations, and personal injury (i.e., libel, slander, and invasion of privacy). By providing protection against financial liabilities related to cancelled or interrupted meetings, conferences, conventions, or exhibitions for associations, this program delivers custom-tailored coverages to fit your particular event.

Association management company insurance

This program provides office package and directors' and officers' coverage to association management companies. Clients and management companies are covered under the same policy, avoiding potential gaps of separately held coverage. Specific antitrust protection, publisher's liability, spousal extension, and other features are customized for the special needs of management companies.
