TRADITIONAL pastimes such as playing conkers, keeping a diary and wearing Sunday best clothes are dying out.

The study into our changing habits showed that just six per cent of under-25s have ever dressed up on a Sunday.

Games such as hopscotch, skipping, hide and seek and conkers have been played by just 13 per cent of under-25s.

And only 15 per cent of young people keep a diary or write letters to friends.

However, 81 per cent of us still tuck into a Sunday roast. And over half - 55 per cent - still like to be beside the British seaside for a holiday.

The study marked the launch of TV channel Blighty.
