Antony released the in-house 'Manual of Security Instructions - 2008 (MSI-2008)' at a brief function in his office here today. Speaking on the occasion Antony underlined the security drill to tackle emerging threats and unpredictable risks. The Defence Minister lauded the Security Wing of the Defence Ministry in compiling the detailed security instructions. Antony called upon the security guards and officers to adhere to the instructions in spirit and action. The updated manual will help ensure a safer and more secure environment, he added. The MSI-2008 is a comprehensive compilation of security instructions issued from time to time to keep pace with the changing security environment. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive , Ministry of Defence, presented Antony with the inaugural copy of the MSI-2008.
